City of Gainesville Commissioner Bryan Eastman (Mayor Pro-Tem, District IV) will lead a special edition of History Bike Gainesville, guiding participants through key moments in the city’s past when Gainesville stood at a crossroads—exploring the decisions made and their lasting impact on the community today. All via your bicycle!
– Meet in front of the Depot Building at Depot Park (Parkside Subs & Shop and Goldies). The ride begins promptly at 4 p.m., check-in starts at 3:30 p.m.
– $5 suggested donation per rider please.
– The tour will last about 2 hours and end at Depot Park. Be safe! Helmets and personal water are strongly recommended. The ride finishes around dusk, so bring lights.
If it looks like rain, the bike tour will be rescheduled.
