Gear up for fun and learning with your littles at the library.

The Florida Museum’s “Our Protecting Pollinators” series shows why these creatures are so important by examining real specimens and creating pollinator-friendly habitats.

This series consists of four free, 30-minute learning sessions meant for children aged 3-5. While the four parts of the series are meant to work together, each session is designed to also offer stand-alone science fun. If you miss one session, you can check the calendar and catch it at a different library branch. These sessions do not require pre-registration but do have limited capacity.

Make a Pollinator Garden Friend
This session teaches children about insects that help pollinator gardens and they will make their own garden friend. Educators bring curiosity-driven activities to little hands to inspire children to learn about pollinators!
