A Night of Community History at Civic Media Center

The Civic Media Center celebrates its 31st Anniversary with the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program. Displays from the Civic Media Center include ephemera of grassroots organizing, photos, and zines made by local artists and writers, including book highlights from the Stetson Kennedy Library. There will be a panel with collaborators from the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program that will highlight Oral History Collections that are pertinent to Gainesville, and Florida’s history. Come out for a night to remember where Gainesvillians and Floridian’s have been, where we are now, and where the future will take us.
