Join Grand Marshal Shaquille O’Neal and the City of Gainesville to celebrate the season with a festive parade. The procession starts at noon and moves along University Avenue from West 6th Street to 620 E University Ave. Holiday festivities continue in downtown Gainesville with The Bo Diddley Plaza Kids Holiday Dance Party at 1 p.m. and Holiday Lights Celebration at The Historic Thomas Center 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
