GAR is built on the foundation of teaching hundreds of young people life skills like the importance of hard work, self-discipline, and teamwork. These important attributes follow rowers throughout their lives as they graduate high school and go on to college and the workplace. The Annual Beer Oar Wine Fundraiser is key to maintaining the success as an organization by supporting the infrastructure needed to operate, contributing to the purchase and improvement of equipment, and facilitating racing for middle and high school rowers.
