Embark on an ‘epoch journey’ at the Florida Museum of Natural History’s “Cruisin’ Deep Time Talk and Book Signing.” This free presentation features Alaskan artist Ray Troll and Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Sant Director Kirk Johnson as they share captivating photographs and enthralling tales from their travels fossil-hunting across Western North America. Florida Museum members can sign up for early entry at 6 p.m. to enjoy snacks, meet the speakers and mingle with other guests. Two of Johnson and Troll’s books will be available for sale at the event through The Lynx Books, with a Q&A and book signing to follow their talk. This is a free event but pre-registration is requested.
