Go to the library with the Florida Museum!
Get ready for a spectacular shell of a time all May at the Cone Park Library Branch. The Alachua County Library District invited Museum Showcases to different branches around the community. These are month-long themed displays that feature specimens, artifacts and objects from the museum’s collections to help tell the story of Florida’s natural history.
It’s a party! Help the Florida Museum unveil May’s Spectacular Shells Museum Showcase. Enjoy fun activities to learn about these underwater mementos that are found all over Florida. Check out a bunch of real shells and use them to make sand. Admission is free.
