“GNV ZInefest, March 7th, 8th, & 9th 2025. What is a Zine? Zine (noun) 1. Most commonly a handmade, photocopied small circulation of self-published work. Festival (noun) 1. A zinefest is a place where people gather to celebrate each other’s work. March 7th - Mapping Trans Joy Event, Collaborative zine making and oral history presentation (masks required) at the Civic Media Center, 433 S. Main Street 5-7pm. March 8th - Panel Palooza Event, Tabling, presentations, and workshops (masks encouraged) at the Sequential Artists Workshop 1314 S. Main street 12pm-6pm. March 9th Sunday - Zine Tabling Event, tabling and community (masks required) at the Civic Media Center, 433 S. Main Street, 12pm-6pm

Join Gainesville Zinefest, March 7-9, featuring the exciting debut festival “Panel Palooza!”

Sequential Artist Workshop, the Civic Media Center, & Mapping Trans Joy have partnered together to bring you a three-day weekend of zines, community, trans joy, and more.

DAY 1: March 7, 5PM – 7 PM | Mapping Trans Joy collaborative zine making @ The CMC, 433 S Main Street
DAY 2: March 8, 12PM – 6PM | Panel Palooza @ SAW, 1314 S Main Street
DAY 3: March 9, 12PM – 6PM | Zine Tabling @ The CMC, 433 S Main Street

The festival shares local Florida talent and out-of-state creators. These events are in part sponsored by The Lynx Books & Zach West Law Firm. And a very special thank you to Gainesville Fine Arts Association, for lending their whole space for Panel Palooza.
