Gator Steps for Lung Disease 5K logo

Join a 5K on the beautiful University of Florida campus and help support a good cause. The 2nd Annual Gator Steps for Lung Disease 5K walk/run benefits the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and aims to advance research, develop treatments, and enhance patient education for various lung diseases. Hosted in collaboration with the Fowler Lung Foundation, this community event offers a morning of fitness, awareness, and support for those affected by pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis.

Event highlights inculde:

  • 5K Walk/Run (small participation fee)
  • Guest speakers
  • Local vendors and organizations
  • Family-friendly activities

The event is free to attend, and participation in the 5K is encouraged but not required. All proceeds directly support patients and families undergoing treatment at UF Health. Mark your calendar and take a step toward lung health!
