Santa Fe College Jazz Ensemble Brings Classic Compositions to Life at the annual “Jazz Up Spring” concert.
The program will open with a student-led jazz combo that will perform a mixture of traditional and modern jazz selections followed by the SF Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. David Smith, who will perform selections by some of the greatest jazz musicians and composers in the history of jazz including Oliver Nelson, Benny and Buster Moten, Bobby Troupe and many others.
