Celebrate shared creativity and hope at “Museum Nights: Finding Silver Linings,” featuring the popular traveling exhibition “Silver Linings: Celebrating the Spelman Art Collection.”
Immerse yourself into a fun-filled and inspiring night that includes poetry, dance and step performances, spoken word, art-making activities, gallery talks, and informational booths by UF fraternities, sororities and campus groups. Stop by and talk with Jessica Clermont, Artist-in-Residence. Poetry will be presented by the E. Stanley Richardson Bard & Broadside North Central Florida Poetry Festival and winners of the Harn’s Words on Canvas writing competition. A NPHC step show will showcase stepping as a cultural express and a symbol of solidarity. Alpha Phi Alpha will highlight the role Black fraternities and sororities in preserving and promoting Black culture, both on-campus and across the nation.
