Join a fascinating evening of sights and sounds. Mac Stone and David Haskell will share their work on connecting our senses to the changes going on around us.

This will be followed by a reception (food and drink provided) and David Haskell will be signing his latest book, “Sounds Wild and Broken” with the help from the Lynx Bookstore.

Mac Stone
Stone is a contributing photographer for National Geographic and a senior fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers. Mac Stone grew up exploring the springs, swamps, and hammocks of North Central Florida where he developed a passion for photography and conservation.

David George Haskell
Haskell is an acclaimed writer and biologist, a Guggenheim Fellow and two-time Pultizer finalist. His work integrates scientific, literary, and contemplative studies of the natural world. Haskell’s latest book, Sounds Wild and Broken, will transform the way you think about and hear the world. This sensory connection makes a powerful case for conservation of species and landscapes
