Self Narrate’s first storytelling meetup of the new year will be February 20, 7:30 p.m. at The Bull. The theme of this meetup is “The Dating Game.” With one week out from Valentine’s Day, you’ll have romance (or failed romance) on the mind. They want to hear your stories about it! As always, themes are open to interpretation.
So, how does this work? Storytellers are given 5-7 minutes to tell their story.
The first half of the evening will consist of stories that were submitted to ahead of time after which time, the floor will open to anyone to share their story!
If you want to share or have any questions, please send a message to Self Narrate on Facebook or to info@selfnarrate.com with a brief outline of your story (2-3 sentences). The reason for this is that it is best to prepare your story ahead of time, practicing how the story can be told in 5 minutes. (The time goes fast!)
Story submissions are needed by Wednesday, February 19!
