Tasting Mersel Wine 3/14 at Serpentine

tasting mersel wine at serpentine

Join Serpentine for an evening spent sipping special selections from Lebanese wine producer, Mersel Wine.

Lebanon is one of the world’s oldest wine regions, with a rich history spanning back to 1550 BCE, when the Phoenicians established trading culture, connecting Lebanon to the whole world, and transporting its unique wines. Today, Mersel Wine carries on this legacy, with a simple philosophy of making wines naturally, with little to no intervention, and using organic & biodynamic farming methods.

They are passionate about preserving and reviving the land of their ancestors, supporting local farmers in their community, and developing wine using local Lebanese grape varieties. 🍇 🌿 The resulting wines are beautifully balanced, with fresh fruit, acidity, and subtle earthiness, reflective of Lebanon’s high altitudes and cool climates. ⛰

Co-founded by two mothers, with the support of their husbands, Mersel Wine is all about breaking down barriers, experimenting with new tastes, and showing the world that women and families can work together to make something truly special. ❤️
