Keep Alachua County Beautiful (KACB) invites everyone to take action and make a difference at the 34th Annual Great American Cleanup! This community-wide effort includes a series of local cleanup events throughout the season, allowing volunteers to take part at their convenience. The main event takes place on Saturday, April 19th, at Massey Park (1001 NW 34th St., Gainesville). KACB has mobilized families, students, environmental groups, and community organizations to improve local spaces through thousands of hours of volunteer work. Over the years, more than 50,000 volunteers have removed over two million pounds of trash & litter from local streets, parks, and natural areas.
