The Alachua County Routes to Roots Carbon Offset Project is dedicated to enhancing our local environment through the power of trees. As part of this ongoing effort, the campaign strives to raise money during the World Masters Athletics competition in March 2025 to fund the planting of 20 trees in the forthcoming Arboretum at West End.
A donation of $75 covers purchasing and planting one tree, but contributions of any size are welcome. Every tree planted contributes to a healthier, greener future, helping to offset carbon emissions and create lasting natural beauty.
Beyond the World Masters Athletics fundraising drive, Routes to Roots will become a permanent feature on VisitGainesville.com, allowing travelers to give back and offset the environmental impact of their journeys.
Join us in growing a legacy—one tree at a time.
