Florida Museum of Natural History is Florida’s state museum of natural history, dedicated to understanding, preserving and interpreting biological diversity and cultural heritage. With more than 20 million specimens, the Florida Museum is the largest natural history museum in the Southeast.
The Harn Museum of Art
The Harn Museum of Art is one of the largest university art museums in the southeast with 112,800 square feet of 11 permanent collection galleries and three temporary exhibition galleries. Its collections focus on Asian, African, modern and contemporary art and photography. Admission is free.

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens
Kanapaha Botanical Gardens—Lush gardens comprised of 24 major collections are accessible from a 1-1/2 mile paved walkway. These include the state’s largest public display of bamboos and the largest herb garden in the southeast. Kanapaha’s signature plants include a premier stand of Chinese royal bamboo and, during the warm months, giant water lilies and Asian snake arums.
